Family On A Budget

I have been threatening to scan all my mom’s old photos and give them to her on a CD, but it has been just a threat. I keep putting it off and putting it off. Snapfish has a scanning service that is pretty affordable.

I would guess with my scanner I could scan up to 30 photos per hour, not including retouching. AT Snapsfish you can get 500 scans for $145.00 or 1000 scans for $290, saving me tons of time that I could be spending elsewhere (like clipping coupons – LOL).

Anyway they can scan photos, 35mm negatives (color) and 35mm slides (color). All you do is pay and send them your images. I am going to send them via tracked, registered, return receipt mail.
